GovTrust aimed to launch a secure, AI-powered chatbot platform for U.S. government agencies—but the project came with complex demands:

Solution
GovTrust partnered with Evertech to design and build a multi-tenant SaaS chatbot platform that met the highest levels of security, scalability, and configurability. The platform leveraged Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with tenant-isolated vector namespaces to ensure accurate, real-time responses while protecting sensitive agency data.
Our engineering team worked closely with GovTrust to implement:
- A React-based frontend with secure SSO and role-based access control.
- A stateless API layer that orchestrates LLM responses while routing requests through tenant-specific namespaces.
- A serverless vector database architecture (via Pinecone) with strict per-tenant and per-folder isolation.
- Document ingestion pipelines that convert uploaded files into vector embeddings tied to tenant and folder metadata.
- Administrative controls for token usage, user limits, and custom system prompts at both tenant and folder levels.
